Lost In The Night

Sometimes when you hear a track, you can immediately associate it with the night. This is almost always the case with UK based producer Grum. Grum has been on our radar for about a year now as he has just been cranking out great track after great track. His latest releases are no exception. We are going to feature 3 of his latest tracks here. As soon as you hear the bass, you just know that this track is meant for neon nights, or a dimly lit dancefloor. Along with the night comes a certain darkness and a certain sense of escape. No longer are you at work, no longer are you in disguise, no longer are you playing pretend. The nights are more free, the nights are where you and your friends shine.

There is nothing better than sharing these nights with someone very special to you. Someone you've opened yourself up to, someone you've projected your hopes, your dreams and your fears to. The nights are a literal escape, only you're escaping together, hand in hand, casting a neon glow throughout the streets. This is what the Grum remix of the Priors 'What You Need' is all about. Escaping together. The night. It could even be for when you close your eyes and think of a time when you've felt these feelings.

Next is another track that just nails a lot of what Dirty Moves is all about. Awash with 80's synths, taking over the night, fantastic bass, bright colors and getting down on the dancefloor. I love when tracks beckon you to do something. "Show me the night" is like a challenge to everyone on the floor. I think the perfect response to this challenge is just to break it down and let loose with those synths like Grum does at 3:45.

Massive remix from Grum here. Disco drums, and that synth that wails, the jump off bass, you just know you're in for a real treat and Grum always delivers. Then the content and emotion of the song kicks in and it hits me real deep and personal. It's the longing for someone you had a crush on, someone you spent some great times with, someone who's eyes you looked into and just smiled, when no words would do. Someone who you just had great compatibility with. And now, you're sitting there, empty with nothing but memories and a faint hope that maybe you'll be able to recreate those feelings again. "If I ever get to see your smile again", "I don't ever wanna forget"

We are together. We are partying. We reflect.
